I have made plenty of projects primarily in Ruby, Javascript, and HTML/CSS.
Some examples include a web browser Etch-a-sketch, a calculator built in Javascript, and a command-line interface Connect Four game built in Ruby!
Feel free to checkout my Github page, and see what projects I have worked and am currently working on!
This website was made in one of my University courses, CCT360 - Intermediate Web Design.
We were tasked to mock the overall design elements of any Canadian post-secondary institution, and change the contents to be based on a Wikipedia page. I personally chose to base my project upon the York University website, and used the Sushi page from Wikipedia. This site uses HTML and CSS built from scratch to properly match York University's website.
This site can be accessed here.
This website was made as a project while I was learning through the online curriculum called The Odin Project.
This sample site showcases knowledge of Flexbox and HTML/CSS Foundations. I was tasked with creating a webpage from scratch that best fit the given designs but with our own thematic choices. I chose to model my website after Tokyo.
As a member of UTM Esports, I volunteered to make the club's stream overlays for Super Smash Bros. Tournaments.
These stream overlays were made using Photoshop/Illustrator, and I also integrated them into the broadcasting software to show the typefaces and cycle of sponsor logos. I made overlays for in-game, post-game and advertisement sections.
Additionally, I have volunteered over time to create promotional material for the UTM Esports.
These have included creating a hiring ad, an Instagram post image, and a tournament poster.
This is a project from a school course (CCT204 - Design Thinking I) in which students were tasked with redesigning a public space/environment to be better suited for elderly and physically handicapped. I did this project by carefully researching what guests at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena struggle with when visiting the arena for sporting events and concerts. Upon this research I then proposed new seating to accomodate guests. This course introduced me to Adobe Illustrator.
I designed this in another one of my school courses (CCT250 - Technology and Creative Expression). This was the final project for the course, in which we were prompted to design the bill for an alternative currency. This currency was to be based upon design and media theories applied towards any sort of society or community, with proper research to support. This bill was designed using both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, using my own photographs and attribution-free photographs.
One design I have made is a T-Shirt design, commissioned by The Good Girls Club clothing brand. This shirt was made for International Women's Day.
Check it out at The Good Girls Club Website.
